  • Living with Grief

    We know that you and your family have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years and live with the accompanying grief.   We know that it is important to continue to acknowledge the reality of this loss and to surround yourself with support through family, friends, communities of faith and through other resources.  
    As one of those resources, we want to extend an invitation to you for a “Living with Grief” meeting that will gather the first Tuesday afternoon of each month from 4-5:15 pm at Boulger Funeral Home.  You can come one time, or many times, or occasionally.  The time will be facilitated by Boulger Funeral Home’s Grief Support Coordinators.  
    Meetings will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 4:00-5:15 PM and again at 6:00 PM.
    The next meetings will be July 2.

Marty D. Baumgartner joined the staff of Boulger Funeral Home in 1995. He is a 1990 graduate of Rothsay High School, a 1994 graduate of Concordia College Moorhead, and a 1995 graduate of the University of Minnesota Minneapolis. He majored in Business Administration and minored in Biology at Concordia, and majored in Mortuary Science at the U of M.

In 1997, with the affiliation of Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo and Wildeman Funeral Home in Hillsboro, North Dakota, Marty's responsibilities became split between Hillsboro and Fargo.

Marty is a member of the American Guild of Organists - Red River Valley Chapter, and serves as treasurer of the organization. He is also the organist at Peace Lutheran Church in Fargo. He and his wife Sheila reside in Fargo with their three sons, Ethan, Avery and Christian.

Marty is a North Dakota and Minnesota licensed funeral director, and is a North Dakota licensed insurance agent.
