I'm sorry I never heard back from Johnny. I was his cousin. My mother, Lynette Finch, was his mother's sister. We had a lot of fun times together when we were little.
I'm sorry for your loss.

We're all going to miss John here at Hoovestol. He drove many, many miles for us over the years hauling mail and we appreciate all of his time. He was a valuable employee and a pleasure to work with. Our condolences go out to his family-- from everybody here at the Eagan office and shop.

We in the Transportation Department at the Mpls/StPaul NDC wish to send condolences to the family of John. It has been great having known John for such a long time. You could always depend on John to move the mail. It was a pleasure to work with such a dedicated individual.

To the Family of John Rhinesmith, I am sorry for the lost of John Rhinesmith. He was a good man and a hard worker as a truck driver for NDC USPS in Eagan. That is where I work and I knew him when I was taking a break in the Trucker's Lounge at the Post Office. I love the way he laughed when he was watch The Amercia Funnest Video shows on TV. I will miss him and God Bless Him and The Family of Rhinesmith.

John and Bobbi have done business with me for years. I enjoyed when John would stop by the office. He always had a smile on his face and loved to give us crap. He was like a ray of sunshine. He was one of my favorite clients and I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in these difficult days to follow. Steve Severson

Dear Eleanor, and Family,
I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and concern for you and also share with you the wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. As you grieve John’s death, please reflect on the hope in question, which comes from Jehovah God. By means of the Bible, He allows us to understand how He’ll eliminate death for good one day and bring our dead loved ones back to life. This is evident in Scriptures like (Isaiah 25: 8), (John 5: 28), (1 Corinthians 15:26), (Revelation 21:3 and 4), which can comfort you in your sorrow. God’s promises are guaranteed because He cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Moreover John 11 verses 11-14, 39, 43, and 44 attest that Jesus, whom God appoints to bring the dead back to life, can do it since he did it when he resurrected Lazarus and several others when he was on earth. As you await John’s resurrection, please heed Jesus’ counsel in John 17 verse 3 and take steps to gain accurate knowledge of Jehovah God and Jesus by carefully studying the Bible with the Witnesses. In John 5 verse 39, Jesus explains that such study is imperative for anyone who wishes to have everlasting life one day here on earth, which will become a paradise where you can be re-united with John again in a world free of violence, war, sickness, old age, even death etc… (Ps 37: 9-11 and 29), (Psalms 46: 8 and 9), (Isaiah 33:24), (Job: 33:25).

John was a beloved father, friend and truck driver. I have many memories of being with him as a small child. John and Bobbi were close to my parents/families hearts and will remaian to be. I am so sorry for this loss. He will be remembered. (Especially his wonderful laugh, I can still hear him.) Sad that it takes something awful to pull us all together a little bit.

Hey Johnny I would call out. Where can one begin? John was such a great friend and neighbor. He always had plans and dreams, busy, busy, busy. No matter what he was doing he would always lend a hand to anyone who asked. John didn't complain, he had such a great attitude. Our lives will be empty without John. Bobbi and family our prayers will be with you always.
