Guest Book for Harry Eisenbeis
Fr. Al Bitz
Jamestown ND
Jay and Kim,
It is with mourning that I heard of the death of your father Harry through the Napoleon Homestead. It is a consolation of our faith that he is now nearer to us, can love us and pray for us – not before a statue or with a prayer book, but in the very Beatific Vision of God and in the total communion of Saints.
Peace and Love

I was sad to see that Harry passed away. When I lived in Hillsboro I always enjoyed working and talking with Harry. He was a friend who I had respect for both in his ethics and his love of farming and those who worked the land. He will be missed.

Jay & Kim,
Not sure if you remember me, met you when living in Fargo, through St. Anthony's Parish.
I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourne the loss and remember the life of your father. May the happy memories overshadow the sorrow of letting go of a loved one.
God bless you and your family.

Harry was probably the finest man I have ever met, and he had that rare ability to make everyone around him a better person. The entire Hillsboro community will miss him dearly.
My sympathies go out to you, Arlene, and the entire family. I hope you can find strength in celebrating the man he was, and always will be, in the hearts and minds of countless people who share your sorrow.
God bless.

Arlene and family, I just saw you and Harry at our Mother Iones funeral in Streeter on June 7th and we so appreciated you being there. I am sorry I am not in Hillsboro at the Funeral today but I am at work here at Sanford Health in Fargo. Over the years whenever I would meet someone from Hillsboro I would ask them if they knew Harry Eisenbeis and they most often would reply "Yes, everyone knows Harry, what a great guy !" I remember when I played Fargo Legion baseball and we played in Hillsboro in 1968, Harry came to my game and wanted to talk to me after the game and my team mates thought he was a Major League scout which made it fun for me. My Dad always talked fondly of his cousin Harry and all of his cousins. I wish I had talked to my Dad more about what those cousins did together while growing up on the farm, the stories would have been interesting. May Harry rest in peace while we carry on in Faith here on Earth. Gods Grace.

Our hearts are heavy today as we remember your loving spouse and father.
We also are thankful for the time we have had the opportunity to get to know your family and to have a number of conversations with Harry. We thank you for sharing him with us during our time in college with Paul and for always greeting us as part of the family.
We are sorry we are unable to be with you during this time, but want you to know that we are with you in spirit as you honor the life and times of a great community leader, faithful servant, friend, and most of all the head of your family.
God's peace be with you.
