Guest Book for Cody Conner
Cody I think of you often, I miss you , I love you and my heart goes out to your family .. Rest in peace my friend
I am so sincerely sorry to hear about Cody. I just heard on the news last night about the benefit and was so saddened to hear and absorb this great tragedy. My heart goes out to you, Debbie. I remember being in your daycare and you being pregnant with Cody. This is all so much for me and Troy to understand.
I pray for you and yours.
I'll miss you a lot, Cody. You got me started playing music and I can't pick up my violin without thinking about you. I always liked seeing you, so, I could tell you that and thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Cody was one of the nicest people hands down that I have ever met. He had so much talent but yet, was as humble as could be which is hard to find. When he played, he felt every note and everyone else could feel it too!
Dear Debby, My heart goes out to you. I know how much you loved and adored Cody. I will always remember when June and I made the trip to see Cody and made it to the hospital just minutes before he was born. What a special little Joy that came into the world that day!!
Then, the many times at your house seeing Cody running around the living room, grabbing his blanket and crashing on the floor. The last time I saw Cody was at Liam's benefit and he was the same sweet spirited young man!
Please take comfort knowing that Cody will most surely have a special place in Heaven and will be playing his music for God's ears.
Lot's of Love to you, Mary
Cody Conner: - talented musician, kind, selfless, giving, loving friend. You accomplished so much in so little time. Wear those wings proudly. You will be missed. Until we meet again.......
I have great memories of Cody from my days in the Fargo music scene. We went to Moorhead High together. I remember one Summer when Cody and my brother Seth and I would sit around in the basement with Cody and laugh and eat grits and listen to delta blues music. Cody was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Just being around him made me feel good. I was in awe of his guitar playing and singing... nobody could play like that. He was a remarkable person. My prayers go out to Cody's family.

He was a special person, and he will be missed. Wishing the family and all his friends some happy memories to sustain them in these difficult days.
Cody was always pleased to see you. He would come into Marguerites Music while I worked there and was always fun to speak to. He had a feel for guitar that was played from the heart.I remember watching him play while in bad mojo , he had that feel that not many players have. Great guy.... great talent
Cody - I didn't know you very well but the handful of times we did converse were filled with laughs and smiles. Your presence was a gift to everyone around you. We will all look forward to seeing you next time. Rest in great peace, and just know you are still loved.

I am so sorry for your loss. Cody was a High School friend of my daughters. I will always remember Cody's easy, kind-hearted spirit. Just thinking of him makes me smile. Sending you prayers.
We were deeply saddened to hear of Cody's passing. Our prayers are with you and your family. Cody was such a wonderful friend to our daughter at one of the most difficult times in her life. He remained one of her favorite people in the world. He had a way of setting aside his own need for those of others.
May God keep his hand on your backs until it's time to see Cody again.

Such a talented man, and genuinely kind. Just lovely.
Debbie and Denis: I was saddened to open up the Fargo Forum this morning to read about the loss of Cody. I never knew Cody except when he was just a little boy, of which i recognized the picture in his obituary. I always liked Cody, and we could always relate as we named our boy Cody too. My heart goes out to you all at the very sad time of loss.It sounds like Cody touched alot of lives, how could he not? He had the greatest parents who raised him to be such a great son. Hugs!x
I worked with Cody at M&H. He was one of the kindest , easy going, most gentle person , had a heart of gold. My heart is so sad , after reading this in the paper. Looked at that smile, and it brought back so many good memories. RIP Cody. Another amazing angel in heaven!
I remember the little guy who stayed over and watched Blood sport with Keith 10,00 times and then they would Kung Fu fight all over the house.
Debby and Denis you have my most sincere condolences.
Ken and Gail Davis
Cody had the most kind and gentle soul we've ever come to know. If God exists, he's waiting with a pair of wings and a guitar for you. It has been an honor to have you as a part of our lives, even for a little while. Rest well, sweet man.
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Cody Conner. He will be forever missed.
Rest in peace brother. You will always be remembered for your music and your kindness to others. You were the most selfless man I ever knew.

Mount Pleasant SC
My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. I remember Cody as that sweet kid we all messed around with when we were younger. God Bless.
My heart goes out to all of Cody's family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a kind, warm hearted person. Although I didn't know him well, I do know the world was a better place for having him in it.
I went to school and graduated high school with Cody. I'm at a loss of words. He was a great friend and we lost touch as the years since then seemed to slip by. However, I've often wondered where he'd ended up and what he was doing. Guess I'm not surprised to learn he was still around music! That's how I'll always remember him. Cody was the best and could always be counted on. He will most certainly be missed.
Cody, you touched the lives of so many. Your presence and music will be missed. You left way too soon. Wherever you are I hope you have a guitar :) We miss you. Love, Sarah
Tears are words from the heart..that can never be spoken...RIP Cody.
I will see again my friend. You have ben a part of many peoples lives. And in one way or nanother u have touched them all in a positive way.
Cody, I've known you since you were a little boy. I watched you grow to become a loving, wonderful man, always thinking of others. You will have a place in my heart forever. My thoughts and heart go out to the Conner family.
Going to miss seeing Cody every time I went to Dempseys. He always made that place feel like home, cooking great food, throwing good drinks and running the sound. I'm glad I got to know him growing up and going to school together in Moorhead, he was always so nice through the years and I looked forward to seeing him even back then. Always a smile and a kind word and oh my that guitar, he was a genius at that. When Trevor lived next door to my mom, Matt and Cody would hang out outside my bedroom window if I was grounded or it was too late for me to go out. I'll never forget that. He touched many, as it's certainly seen all over my Facebook feed. I will surely miss him. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and the band.
I have so many fun memories as us as kids running around your mom's house. Like how you, Keith, and I would sneak down to your brother's room and look at the Freddy Krauger stuff and play around with it....but we never told him because we weren't supposed to. I never personally saw you play your guitar, but Travas said you were very talented. He said he only had to give you a couple of beats and you'd pick the song up from there...even if you've never heard of it. It's sad you were taken so young and you will be missed!
To my favorite baby-sitter: If you need anything at all don't hesitate to let me know!
We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts.

You will be missed Cody. You were such a kind, caring person. Always looking out for others before even considering yourself. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Give the heavens some of that beautiful music.
I had the priviledge to meet and play with cody at some of his open mikes he hosted. He was a wonderful guy.You couldn't help but like him and he didn't have a pretentious bone in his body.He was always encouraging and engaging. I only had a few brief encounters but he was one of those people who you feel like you know them without having to be around for a long time. He was so down to earth. He is gone way too soon, but for me, what little time I got to know him was time well spent.
Our prayers will be with you.
