Ellsworth Robertsdahl, 80, Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in his home.

Ellsworth Robertsdahl was born December 21, 1926 at Christine, ND, the son of Eddie and Christine Robertsdahl. He graduated from Pleasant Consolidated School in 1945. In January 1946, he enlisted in the Army and served until July 1947. He farmed at home with his parents after he returned from service.

Ellsworth was united in marriage to Marlys Weight on November 30, 1957 in Oakes, ND. They farmed in the Kindred-Walcott area until he retired in 1988 due to health reasons. The couple moved to Fargo in September 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Marlys, Fargo; four sons, Mark (Sheila), Fargo, ND, Keith (Patricia), Breckenridge, MN, Steven (Lana), Valley City, ND, Leigh (Michelle), Farmington, MN; one daughter, Barbara (Brian) Pavek, Maple Grove, MN; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Agnes (Norman) Liudahl, West Fargo, ND, Arleen Funseth, Northwood, ND, Jordis (Hilbert) Baumgarten, Durbin, ND, Lenore (David) Frederickson, Sarasota, FL, and Carolyn (Wally) Freeman, Kerrville, TX; one brother, Wesley (Velora) Robertsdahl, Kindred, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Edith Nord; his brother, Clarence Robertsdahl; his son, Dale in 2001; and his daughter Lorie Jo in 1964.
