  • Living with Grief

    We know that you and your family have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years and live with the accompanying grief.   We know that it is important to continue to acknowledge the reality of this loss and to surround yourself with support through family, friends, communities of faith and through other resources.  
    As one of those resources, we want to extend an invitation to you for a “Living with Grief” meeting that will gather the first Tuesday afternoon of each month from 4-5:15 pm at Boulger Funeral Home.  You can come one time, or many times, or occasionally.  The time will be facilitated by Boulger Funeral Home’s Grief Support Coordinators.  
    Meetings will be held on Tuesday,May 7, 2013 at 4:00-5:15 PM and again at 6:00 PM.
    The next meetings will be May 7.

Orville C. Peterson loving husband, caring father passed away on May 30, 2012 at the age of 91.


He was born to Josephine (Rust) and Oscar Peterson on June 28, 1920. Orville served in WWII in the Aleutians and Europe. Orville farmed in the Prosper area until retiring in 1978. He then moved to Fargo with his wife, Frances. In 1981 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona and enjoyed their retirement days. In 2010 they returned to Fargo to be closer to family.         


Orville is survived by his wife, Frances and three daughters: Susan Benesh, Sandpoint, ID; Josephine (Steven) Lynde, Bismarck, ND; Joan (Rick) Larson, Fargo, ND; 6 grandchildren: Lori, Jill, Angel, Tim, Brady, and Bridgitte; 7 great grandchildren; one sister, Olga Riley and one brother, Ralph.


He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Bernice Dittmer, Pearl Claussen, and Gladys Krogh.
