  • Living with Grief

    We know that you and your family have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years and live with the accompanying grief.   We know that it is important to continue to acknowledge the reality of this loss and to surround yourself with support through family, friends, communities of faith and through other resources.  
    As one of those resources, we want to extend an invitation to you for a “Living with Grief” meeting that will gather the first Tuesday afternoon of each month from 4-5:15 pm at Boulger Funeral Home.  You can come one time, or many times, or occasionally.  The time will be facilitated by Boulger Funeral Home’s Grief Support Coordinators.  
    Meetings will be held on Tuesday,May 7, 2013 at 4:00-5:15 PM and again at 6:00 PM.
    The next meetings will be May 7.

Richard “Dick” A. Hiebert, 64, Fargo, ND, died, Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN.


Richard, the son of Andrew and Dora Hiebert, was born July 31, 1947 at LeRoy, ND.  Richard grew up and attended school in Walhalla, ND.  Richard received his GED and also attended truck school.  He moved to Fargo, where he owned and operated an auto body shop.  He painted and detailed cars and motorcycles.  Richard then worked as an over-the-road semi-driver for a number of years. Richard married Kathy J. Manson on Sept. 5, 1997 in Sioux Falls, SD.  The couple made their home in Fargo.  Richard worked for Fargo Hose from 1998- 2000 until he became disabled.  His wife Kathy has been his caregiver in their home since then.


Dick enjoyed being with family, hunting, fishing, reading the Fargo Forum, word puzzles, cooking and grilling.  He was a great Papa for family, neighbors and dogs.  Every night he told his wife, “Sleep with Angels, I love you.   Also, you can only hate one thing in life, not a person.”   Richard hated liver.


He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his father, Andy Hiebert; grandchildren, Mara Piro, Kierra Piro, Sebastian Kringler; 6 stepsons and stepdaughters; brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, aunts,  uncles and many friends.


He was preceded in death by his companion and therapeutic dog, Foxy; his beloved mother, Dora Hiebert; his mother-in-law, Audrey Manson; father-in-law, James Manson and stepson, Josh Iverson.
