  • Living with Grief

    We know that you and your family have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years and live with the accompanying grief.   We know that it is important to continue to acknowledge the reality of this loss and to surround yourself with support through family, friends, communities of faith and through other resources.  
    As one of those resources, we want to extend an invitation to you for a “Living with Grief” meeting that will gather the first Tuesday afternoon of each month from 4-5:15 pm at Boulger Funeral Home.  You can come one time, or many times, or occasionally.  The time will be facilitated by Boulger Funeral Home’s Grief Support Coordinators.  
    Meetings will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 4:00-5:15 PM and again at 6:00 PM.
    The next meetings will be July 2.

Donald “Don” Bruns, 84, Fargo, ND died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Sanford Health, Fargo.


Donald Arthur Burns was born on July 25, 1927 at Stirum, ND to Arthur and Matilda (Luttman) Bruns. He grew up on the family farm and attended country school. He was drafted into the US Army serving in Korea. Don married Donna Mae Boll in 1954. They moved to West Fargo, ND in 1960. Donna died in 1968. He worked for Massey Ferguson for many years until his retirement in the early 1980’s.


He is survived by four children, Deanna (Ron) Brakke, Sheldon, ND, Donovan Bruns, Fargo, Denise (Tim) Martin, Fargo, Darin Bruns, Fargo; four grandchildren, Andrea (Michael) Feske, Cynthia (Clint) Arndt, Daniel Smeltzer, and Timothy Martin; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Samuel and Jakobe; two sisters, Vivian (Abe) Penner, Fargo and Audrey Bruns, Gwinner, ND.


Don was preceded in death by his wife; sister, Margie Meyer; and daughter, Debbie Rheault.
