  • Living with Grief

    We know that you and your family have experienced the death of a loved one within the last two years and live with the accompanying grief.   We know that it is important to continue to acknowledge the reality of this loss and to surround yourself with support through family, friends, communities of faith and through other resources.  
    As one of those resources, we want to extend an invitation to you for a “Living with Grief” meeting that will gather the first Tuesday afternoon of each month from 4-5:15 pm at Boulger Funeral Home.  You can come one time, or many times, or occasionally.  The time will be facilitated by Boulger Funeral Home’s Grief Support Coordinators.  
    Meetings will be held on Tuesday,May 7, 2013 at 4:00-5:15 PM and again at 6:00 PM.
    The next meetings will be May 7.

Evangeline “Angel” Brown, 52, Galesburg, ND died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family under the care of Hospice.


Evangeline Marie Cossette, the daughter of Maurice and Alea Cossette, was born January 26, 1960 at Belcourt, ND.   She grew up in Fargo and attended South High School in Fargo.  Evangeline was very athletic and was a member of the Fargo Acrobatic Team.  Evangeline married Ronny Brown on June 26, 1978 in Minneapolis, MN.  The couple made their home in Fargo until 1985.  They moved to Tulia, TX for a short time, returning to Fargo, North Dakota in 1986. They moved to their current home in Galesburg in  ND in 1997.


Evangeline enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, riding with her husband – her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  Wherever Evangeline was,  her dog, Della, wasn’t far behind.


She is survived by her husband, Ronny; sons, Curt (Laura) Brown, Fargo, Keith Brown, Fargo, Shawn Brown (Heather Unruh-Hiebert), Ronny Brown Jr. (Linda Smeby); brothers, Ron (Donna) Cossette, Gillette, WY, James Cossette, Belview, KS, Terrance (Sandy) Cossette, St. Mary, KS, Duane (Jan) Cossette, Great Falls, MT; and grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Hayllie Brown, Trystan, Brown, Kellcie Brown.


Evangeline is also survived by extended family who live near Belcourt, ND on the Turtle Mt. Indian Reservation.


She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Alyson Paige Brown and Kerstin Brown.
